Description
The 3306-8P 8 Way MOCA Amplifier is designed to support critical applications such as telephony that require high reliability networks to provide uninterrupted service at all times. The 3306-8P 8 Way MOCA Amplifier has a 2 way splitter incorporated on the RF input prior to the diplex filter which provides an additional port on the housing for the cable modem or eMTA connection that bypasses the amplifier circuit. This feature enables critical applications to not be affected by power outages or amplifier failures. PCT amplifiers feature a lightweight powder coated and weather sealed housing for superior corrosion protection. PCT amplifiers have precision machined F ports (conforms to SCTE standards) that have beryllium copper seizure mechanisms to provide optimal distribution and amplification of your RF signals.

An 8-way MoCA (Multimedia over Coax Alliance) amplifier is a device used in MoCA-based networks to amplify and distribute MoCA signals over coaxial cable lines. MoCA technology allows for the transmission of high-speed data, such as internet or multimedia content, over existing coaxial cable infrastructure commonly found in homes or buildings.

What is a MoCA amplifier?
A MoCA amplifier is a device used in MoCA networks to boost and distribute MoCA signals over coaxial cable lines. It amplifies the signals to ensure optimal performance and reliability throughout the network.
What is MoCA technology?
MoCA (Multimedia over Coax Alliance) is a networking technology that enables the transmission of high-speed data, such as internet, video, and other multimedia content, over existing coaxial cable infrastructure within a home or building.
How is an 8-way MoCA amplifier installed?
Installation involves connecting the input port of the MoCA amplifier to the MoCA signal source, such as a MoCA-enabled router or modem. The amplified MoCA signals are then distributed to various locations or devices using the output ports of the amplifier.
