8-Port Active Optical Fiber Splitter = 1-to-8 active optical splitter. Unlike a passive PLC splitter, it features a built-in power supply, optoelectronic conversion chip, and optical signal regeneration and amplification, plus optional Power over Fiber (PoF). It takes one upstream fiber input and splits it into eight independent optical ports. This is a core device for all-optical LANs, FTTR, and industrial all-optical networks.
